Our first training session for the season is this Thursday at 5.15pm. Our new coaching coordinator Simone Jordan will be running the session along with Matt Wecker, which is a coach from the Senior Athletics Club North Canberra Gungahlin Athletics. For our first session Matt will be taking athletes Under 9 and older for High Jump, with junior athletes focusing on Shot Put and Discus (following warm-up). We are currently looking for more parent help for our training sessions - if you are able to help you can contact Simone by email or speak to her on Thursday afternoon. Parents - you must stay with your athlete during practice, as we are not covered by insurance to coach without a responsible adult present.
