​The Agenda and papers for consideration at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) are now available.  If you would like a copy of the papers please request them.  The AGM will be  held at 4pm on Sunday at the Eastlake Gungahlin Club and all members are welcome to attend.

As a reminder, we are still looking for people to join the Committee. Positions to be filled include: 
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Assistant Registrar
  • Communications Manager
  • Equipment Manager
  • Tiny Tots Coordinator
  • Age Group Manager Coordinator

]]><![CDATA[Season 2026-27 Registrations are open]]>Sun, 12 Jul 2026 08:35:17 GMThttps://www.gunlac.org/news/season-2026-27-registrations-are-openRegistrations for 2026-27 Season are Open!! This season we have the following Memberships available:
  • Tiny Tots — born 2023-2022
  • U6 to U10 — born 2021-2017
  • U11 to Open — born 2016 or earlier - Club Standard or All Access Competition
  • Adult Community - born 2009 or earlier

Note: our club season will not commence having athletic meets until around October 2026. The opening of registrations in July gives athletes aged 10+years access to the range of Capital Athletics events that are being run prior to our season commencing.

The All Access Competition option is a new all inclusive membership where one membership fee provides full access to all of our Club events and all eligible Capital Athletics competitions, championships and series events throughout the season. Note: it does not cover entry fees to club organised carnivals or other state competitions.

To get started with your registration and see the prices please head to our REGISTER AN ATHLETE page, you can also read through the Capital Athletics 2026-27 Season Membership information: ]]><![CDATA[Registrations opening SOON]]>Thu, 09 Jul 2026 10:09:44 GMThttps://www.gunlac.org/news/registrations-opening-soonCapital Athletics has made changes to their membership year and the types of memberships that will be available.  They have introduced a new "All Access Competition Membership" which includes access to all of the Capital Athletics competitions for athletes in the Under 11 and above age groups.   For more information about these changes please refer to the Capital Athletics website.

Due to these changes our Club Registrations will open earlier, on Monday, 13 July 2026. However, the dates for our Club events will remain the same - that is, club events are expected to commence around Sept/Oct 2026 and run through to March 2027.

Information on our club fees will be available soon.

We encourage our members to consider nominating for a Committee position. Whilst many of our current committee are returning, some are looking to change roles and there are  some key positions which need to be filled for the upcoming season:

Our club's AGM will be held at the Eastlake Gungahlin Club between 4-5pm on Sunday, 26th July 2026.  Members are invited to join us in person, you can also join us virtually. 

All committee positions will be declared vacant and we encourage our members to attend. Nominations for committee positions before the event are encouraged.
