CAPITAL ATHLETICS CROSS COUNTRY RELAY INFORMATION

Registrations are open for the 2025 Capital Athletics Cross Country Relay! All 2024-25 registered athletes are welcome to participate.
The Cross Country Relay is a 4 x 1000m event, that will be run at the same time as the Cross Country Championships on Saturday, 28th June 2025. This is a non-championship event so no medals will be awarded just a great opportunity to get a GUNLAC team together for some fun! Club teams of 4 can be made up of athletes across genders, age groups and para/able-bodied athletes. We can also enter composite teams by joining with other clubs but we'd love to see some GUNLAC teams. EVENT FEE AND REGISTRATION
The Entry Fee is $10 per athlete ($40 per team). All athletes wanting to participate should register and pay online as soon as possible. Entries will be accepted by GUNLAC until 6pm Friday, 27th June.
If any athletes wish to participate after this time they should complete the Capital Athletics Registration form. This form should be handed to Max Berry (Capital Athletics official) by no later than 12.30pm on the day. Invoice details for these registrations are to be organised by an adult and nominated on the form.
UNIFORM
All athletes MUST wear their GUNLAC Uniform (GUNLAC top & black bottoms (shorts/pants)) with their chest number and age patch clearly visible. All sponsorship must be clearly visible on the chest number and age patch.
RELAY TEAMS
Once finalised, a list of GUNLAC teams will be emailed to all families attending the carnival as soon as we can. If you register for the Relay Carnival but are unable to attend for any reason, please let us know ASAP ([email protected]) so we can make best efforts to ensure the other team members still have a full team.
All relay team members should arrive at the starting line at least 10mins before the race commences.
PARENTAL ASSISTANCE
If you can assist with organising GUNLAC teams on the day please let us know via the Registration form.
