There will be a final Season 2025/2026 medal & presentation awards collection opportunity this Thursday 16th April, 5:30-6:30pm at the Amaroo Playing Fields.
Anything not collected will be held in storage until the start of our next season. We want to hear from you! Your feedback will help shape the Committee's decisions heading into next season. We've put together a short survey to gather your thoughts on some of the challenges we faced this year, including January meets, session start times, volunteering, and managing extreme weather. Every response is appreciated.
The survey only has four questions and will be open until Sunday, 26th April 2026. A link to the Survey is in the email sent to all members on 8th April 2026. Thanks for being part of our Community! Couldn't make it to Presentation Day?? There's another chance to collect medals, trophies and ribbons - just get along to our post presentation Collection Day tomorrow, Monday, 30th March 5-6pm at Amaroo Playing Fields.
Please make your best attempts to collect tomorrow - friends/family can also collect on your behalf. We had a small amount of Lost Property left behind at the Presentation Day - this will also be available tomorrow. Get in touch if you're not sure if we found it! Have you voted yet? The votes close at 6pm, Sunday, 25th March 2026.
You can find the voting link inside your Club email, any problems reach out to us via email before the closing time. Meet #18 and our final Gungahlin Athletics meet for the season. To celebrate the end of season athletes are encouraged to add a splash or more of colour - think ribbons, hats, socks, shorts, face paint. Please make sure your top with its registration number is still visible. Athletes will also receive a free Zooper Dooper at the end of the meet!
Voting for our Gungahlin Athletics Club Person - if you haven’t already please take a few minutes to vote for your Club Person of the year! Voting must close at 6pm this Sunday, 15th March 2026. Your weekly club email contains the voting link! Pack up Helpers - At the end of the meet Committee Members will be moving all the items from the equipment shed into the long term storage sheds - stick around after the senior session and give us a hand, it’d be greatly appreciated! Recycling Uniforms- Have some uniforms that are past their best? You can recycle them by leaving them in the donation point at the equipment shed (close to the tables). Drop them in the bucket and we’ll do the rest! Before you donate…
