REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025-26 SEASON ARE OPEN

We need more Age Group Managers before the season kicks off on Saturday — Age Groups cannot participate without this role being filled! A minimum of 2 per Age Group is required for U6-U11. Number of Positions to be filled for:
This is a critical role to get our athletes on the track and having fun each week. You’ll be supported by our committee, parents, and junior coaches — so you won’t be on your own. All the instructions you need are available in a folder you collect at the start of each meet (they're also on the website if you want to read up beforehand) No special experience needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved! Committee members will be on hand at Thursday night training if you want to discuss in person With one week until our season starts, we're running our *Registration Pack Collection and Come n Try Day between 10am-12pm today (11 October 2025).
Registration Collection: If you're collecting your registration packs, where possible please attend at the following times: 10:00–11:00am: Tiny Tots & U6–U8: 11:00am–12:00pm: U9–U17, Adults Staggered times will help our volunteers assist you faster! *More collection dates available at Thurs training (16/10) 6-7pm and at Meet 1 - Sat (18/10) from 8am. Parking: Another event is being held on the Top Oval at the same time so parking might get busy, extra parking is available close by at Amaroo School and Good Shepherd. Check our social media pages for the parking map. Uniforms: You can purchase our Gungahlin Little Athletics tops; Gungahlin Athletics crops and racer singlets; and second-hand shoes/ Little Athletics uniforms tomorrow. Our new Gungahlin Athletics t-shirts are still on their way and should be here soon. Come n Try: Join in the fun morning of athletics activities, grab a bite at the canteen, and enjoy a coffee from Mr B’s van! Know someone who might be keen to join? Bring them along too (that includes the adults)! See you there!
Gungahlin Athletics Club is running a fun Come n Try Day on Saturday, 11th October between 10am-12pm at Amaroo Playing Fields. We have several fun activities set up so athletes can try running, throwing and jumping. It's a great chance to have a chat to committee members about what it’s like to be a part of our club and what we have on offer. You can see our uniforms, check out our playing grounds, sample a sausage from our canteen and much more! So save the date, RSVP and stay tuned for more information. We'll be kicking off our pre-season preparation by hosting a Bunnings BBQ's on Saturday 26 July 2025, at the Gungahlin store between 8:30am-4:30pm.
This BBQ is a fantastic opportunity to raise much-needed funds for our club. Every sausage sizzled and drink sold goes directly toward keeping registration fees low for all families and the cost of updating our equipment for our athletes.
