Lifetime Membership
The Lifetime Membership Award is not given every year; rather, it is awarded when individuals within the club are identified for their exceptional contributions over many years. Nominations for this prestigious award are open throughout the season, with all submissions being reviewed and determined by the committee.

Our Lifetime Members demonstrate outstanding dedication, leadership, and service, playing an essential role in the club’s success and impact on the community. This award not only celebrates their past achievements but also stands as a lasting tribute to their ongoing commitment and passion for Gungahlin Athletics Club.

The end of the season is the perfect time to consider and submit nominations for Lifetime Members, recognising those members who have consistently made outstanding contributions to the club.

This is a critical role to get our athletes on the track and having fun each week. You’ll be supported by our committee, parents, and junior coaches — so you won’t be on your own. All the instructions you need are available in a folder you collect at the start of each meet (they're also on the website if you want to read up beforehand)

No special experience needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved!

With one week until our season starts, we're running our *Registration Pack Collection and Come n Try Day between 10am-12pm today (11 October 2025).

Registration Collection: If you're collecting your registration packs, where possible please attend at the following times:
          10:00–11:00am: Tiny Tots & U6–U8:
          11:00am–12:00pm: U9–U17, Adults
Staggered times will help our volunteers assist you faster!
*More collection dates available at Thurs training (16/10) 6-7pm and at Meet 1 - Sat (18/10) from 8am.

Parking: Another event is being held on the Top Oval at the same time so parking might get busy, extra parking is available close by at Amaroo School and Good Shepherd.  Check our social media pages for the parking map.

Uniforms: You can purchase our Gungahlin Little Athletics tops; Gungahlin Athletics crops and racer singlets; and second-hand shoes/ Little Athletics uniforms tomorrow. Our new Gungahlin Athletics t-shirts are still on their way and should be here soon.

Come n Try: Join in the fun morning of athletics activities, grab a bite at the canteen, and enjoy a coffee from Mr B’s van! Know someone who might be keen to join? Bring them along too (that includes the adults)!
