NOMINATIONS FOR CLUB AWARDS

19/2/2025

As we approach the end of the 2024-25 season and begin preparations for our Presentation Day (Sunday, 30th March 2025) we are seeking nominations for the GUNLAC Club person of the year and GUNLAC Lifetime Membership.

Nominations will be open until Sunday 2nd March 2025 and should be sent
to [email protected].  Your nomination should include the person’s name, position/role and a brief explanation of why you believe they deserve the award.
Club Person of the Year 2024-25

The
GUNLAC Club Person of the Year celebrates a parent, athlete or volunteer who has made a significant contribution to the club during the 2024-25 season. The recipient will have shown qualities like leadership, sportsmanship, positivity, dedication, and a strong commitment to GUNLAC.

We encourage all GUNLAC families to nominate someone who deserves this award.  Voting will open for families in the week following the close of nominations.

Lifetime Membership
The
GUNLAC Lifetime Membership Award is not given every year; rather, it is awarded when individuals within the club are identified for their exceptional contributions over many years. Nominations for this prestigious award are open throughout the season, with all submissions being reviewed and determined by the GUNLAC committee.

Our Lifetime Members demonstrate outstanding dedication, leadership, and service, playing an essential role in the club’s success and impact on the community. This award not only celebrates their past achievements but also stands as a lasting tribute to their ongoing commitment and passion for GUNLAC.

The end of the season is the perfect time to consider and submit nominations for Lifetime Members, recognising those members who have consistently made outstanding contributions to the club.

We look forward to hearing about all the amazing individuals who make GUNLAC so special!  If you have any questions about either of these awards, please get in touch with the committee.

We currently have low stock of some uniform items and have sold out of Size 6 t-shirts.  However, we do have more T-shirts and hats on their way and they're expected to arrive before our season starts on Saturday 19th October 2024.

If you don't see the uniform size you would like during the registration process, simply skip that screen (press Next), complete your registration and you can purchase a uniform in person when you collect your athlete's registration pack.  Our next registration collection day will be at training on Thursday, 17th October between 6-7pm.

Reminders:
Tiny Tots (U5) also have the option to wear a plain red t-shirt, since the smallest uniform we currently stock is Size6.
