CLUB UPDATE

Name Change
At the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), it was agreed to change the club name to Gungahlin Athletics Club (GAC). This decision reflects the decision to now accept registrations for athletes aged 18 and over. Stay turned for more information on these changes as we head towards the 25/26 Athletics Season.

Registration for Over 17's and the tiniest of Tiny Tots!
For the 25/26 Athletics Season, GAC will be offering registration for three new age categories:

• U18-U20
• Opens (20+)
• Full Tiny Tots program (3-5 year olds)

We look forward to welcoming new and returning athletes who are seeking to progress their athletics journey. As a full service club Athletes will be able to remain (and represent) the club as they age, and following a successful trial of U5 Tiny Tots last season, the program will be expanded to include the full Tiny Tots age range (3-5 year olds). 

Gungahlin Athletics Committee
We welcomed some new and familiar faces to the committee for the upcoming season.  To keep the Club thriving, we'd love to fill the rest of the positions so please get in touch if you might be keen to fill any of the vacancies which include:

• Vice President
• Tiny Tots Coordinator
• Age Group Manager Coordinator (second session)
• BBQ Manager
• Track Manager (multiple)
• First Aid Officer (second session)
