Meet 11 - Saturday, 17 January 2026

This Saturday is Meet #11 and it should be a cooler change from last week with a chance of rain!  If we need to cancel you’ll be notified here and on our socials. As usual, if there’s no information the meet is on!!

**NEW*** No Gungahlin Athletics meet next weekend due to the Australia Day long weekend.  Enjoy your celebrations and if you’re in town why not head to the U20&Open Championships to race against or check out some world class athletes.

 Line-Up Locations & Times:
     8:20am: Tiny Tots (near junior throws) and U6-8 (straight track)
    9:45am: Race Walk (meet at round track tent): U9 (700m), U10 - U11 (1100m) and U12 - Masters (1500m)
    9:50am: U9+ (near senior throws)​

***NEW*** Presentation Day will be held on Sunday, 29th March 2026 at the Ainslie Football & Social Club so save the date!  Team Photos will commence from Meet#13 - 7th February 2026

Capital Athletics Under 20 & Open Championships:
Sat 24 - Mon 26 January 2026 at AIS - closing at 21:00 Thursday 19 Jan 2026  and 12pm Tuesday 20 Jan 2026.

• ​Some big names will be attending this event, your chance to line up with some of the best! Or head along to watch over the long weekend!

2026 CA Underage Championships U9-U18:
Fri 13 - Sun 15th Feburary 2026 at the AIS, Registrations close 12pm, 9th Feb 2026

• U9-U18 athletes
• No Gungahlin Seniors meet on Saturday, 14 Feb due to a clash with this competition.
• Qualifying event for Australian Athletics National Championships

Woden Thunder Carnival:
Sunday 22 February 2026 at Woden Athletics Field

• U9-Open age groups
• $5/event entry fee
• Medals for place getters, 
• Woden Thunder Gift race with a prize pool of $2000
• ​A lucky door prize!
