Meet 2 - Saturday 26 October 2024

Start Times & Program: To ensure the meet begins on schedule, athletes must be at their Age Group basket on time:   
     8:20am: Tiny Tots (top oval) and U6-8 (straight track on bottom oval)
     9:45am: Optional 1500m run for U11-17 athletes (round track on top oval)    
     9:50am: U9-17 (NEW LOCATION: bottom oval, towards the senior throws)​
Please note the change in location for our U9-17 age groups whose Age Group baskets will be on the bottom oval between the old round track and the senior throws area.

​The program for Saturday's events is now available and Group B is on Roster Duty, please see a committee member (wearing a red shirt) when you arrive for instructions.  Those on setup duty should arrive no later than 8:00am (U6-8); 8:20am (Tiny Tots); 9:20am (U9-17).

There is an optional 1500m run on the program for our U11-17 athletes.  If they wish to participate they should be at the round track (on the top oval) ready to race by 9:45am.

Registration bags (N/A for trials) should be picked up before your athlete commences the meet and can be collected from 8 AM. Remember to bring proof of identity for your athlete/s (electronic copy preferred) and at least four safety pins per athlete to attach their new numbers to their shirts.  If you are new to the club and have not already collected your registration information please have a read through the New Family Information Sheet.

All registered Athlete/s should wear their GUNLAC uniform and have their registration number and age patch attached to their shirt.  Uniforms can be purchased at the Registration Desk. Trial athletes should wear comfortable athletic clothing (eg, shorts, t-shirt, jumper) and sneakers.

Trial athletes should make sure they join the correct Age Group.  If your athlete is not on the list the Age Group Manager has please double check they are in the correct age group.  You can use the GUNLAC Age Group Calculator on the FAQ page to confirm your athletes age group beforehand.

Please note: All of the round track events (200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m) will be held on the Top Oval.  The Finish line is positioned closest to the Equipment shed.

There are still a number of vacant positions that we need to fill, please contact us ASAP if you can fill any of these positions.: 

• Age Group Managers  (U6Bs, U9Bs (2nd), U10Bs (2nd), U12Bs, U6Gs (2nd)). Age groups can not start their events on a Saturday morning until these positions are filled; 
• First Session Hurdles Track Manager;
• First Aid Officers.

Our friendly coffee van, Gas Coffee, will be back on site from this Saturday for anyone who was missing their caffeine hit last week!
