ATHLETE SPONSORSHIP / GRANTS

Our Club
Each year the committee sets aside an amount of money that can be used to support our athletes who are selected to attend athletics events in accordance with our by-laws and is allocated at the Committee's discretion.  This may be to cover a range of expenses such as entry fees, purchasing state/national uniforms or travelling to athletics events. To apply for this funding please liaise with the president.

Below lists a number of organisations who provide financial assistance to athletes.  Please go to the relevant site to confirm the application dates and eligibility.  If you become aware of other assistance please let us know so we can add it to our list for our members.

Youth

Australian Sports Commission
Local Sporting Champions (LSC): Financial Assistance for coaches, officials and competitors who meet the age guidelines

Local Para Champions: Financial Assistance for participants attending championships that are specifically for athletes with a disability who meet the age guidelines.  The LPC also supports coaches, officials and other support roles who enable the sportsperson to participate.

Ausport provides a list of other more specific Grants that you may be eligible for.
