Training is not compulsory but encouraged for athletes to improve their skills. Important information to note:
Each week, please email Rodney before training (at least by Wednesday) advising what age groups and how many athletes are coming to training. This is to make sure we know how many are coming for each group.
Parents must stay on the grounds at all times, please do not drop your children off and leave.
In the event of inclement/hot weather and/ or other cancellations or changes to the schedule please keep an eye on the GUNLAC Facebook page. HOT WEATHER POLICY FOR TRAINING - if the temperature 60 minutes prior to the commencement of the session is 35.0 degrees or higher on BOM App then training will be cancelled.
Parent assistance during the sessions (by resetting the HJ bar, raking sand, standing hurdles back up, etc) is invaluable and very welcome.
