 GUNLAC is running a Come n Try Day on Sunday, 15th September 2024 between 10am-12pm at Amaroo Playing Fields. We will have several fun activities set up so your athlete can try running, throwing, jumping and you can have a chat to committee members about what it’s like to be a part of our club. You can see our uniforms, check out our playing grounds and much more! So save the date and stay tuned for more information. No need to wait for our Come n Try Day tho’, if your athlete is keen to get started but you’re a bit hesitant on whether they’ll stick with it - register now for our Trial Registration (U6-17). All the fun without the commitment. Your athlete will get to have a 2 week trial once our season starts and they’ll participate exactly the same as our other athletes with the exception of wearing the uniform! That means they can attend training and compete along other athletes in their age group. You will need to register them so that we know they’ll be there and they’ll be covered by our insurance. GUNLAC is very excited to have a brand new Tiny Tots program for U5's this season. Places are limited and we’ve filled 50% of them already so book in soon if you’re keen. NEW TINY TOT program: In response to many requests, we're pleased to announce that this season we will be launching a TINY TOTS program for our Under 5 athletes (born in 2020). Given this is our first time running the program, we have limited spots available. Prices start from $90 for a Tiny Tot or $165 for a U6-17 athlete, discounts apply for multiple athletes in the family. If you're new to GUNLAC we also offer a 2 week trial registration where you can attend 2 weeks for free to see if you like it - check out our COME AND TRY LITTLE ATHLETICS page for more details on how to register for a trial. We have already set our season dates (CALENDAR) which will kick off on Saturday, 19th October 2024.
Tomorrow (Meet 18) will be our last meet for the season!!
To celebrate our last meet we would love all the kids to come down dressed in as much colour as possible - think crazy socks, colourful shorts, ribbons, zinc, hats, the possibilities are endless! Please make sure your athlete still has their GUNLAC top with their age and number patch on so we can record their results and that outfits are safe for scheduled events.
