DUTY ROSTER
Please note that is a condition of registration that all families must volunteer to assist during the season. This may be as an Age Group manager, Committee member, canteen helper or recorder. Little Athletics is run solely by parent volunteers!
When you register online there will be a list of options to sign up to on the duty roster, more information can be found on the PARENT ROSTER page.
SEASON DATES
The Little Athletics season runs from October to March each year. Key dates for the 2024-25 season are available on our Calendar page.
AGE GROUPS
Age groups are based on calendar year athletes are born and are determined by the age a child is turning in 2025. Therefore a child who is turning 10 anytime in 2025 will be in the Under 10 age group for the 2024-25 season. Check out our Age Group Calculator if you want to double check before registering. The online registration system will automatically determine the age group for each child being registered once you enter their date of birth. Athletes born between 2008 and 2020 are eligible to register this season.
FEES FOR SEASON 2024-25
Registration fees are made up of two components - our GUNLAC club fee and the Capital Athletics fee. Capital Athletics increased their component of the fee this season meaning that the total registration fee has increased. The GUNLAC component of the fee has remained the same as the last few years. Discounts are applied for families who register multiple children ($10 discount for two children, $30 discount for three children and $70 discount for four children).
The tables below are an example of the fees you can expect to pay, as there are many different scenarios. The system will automatically calculate your fees at the end of the registration process.
Another common example may be when you have both a Tiny Tot (Under 5) athlete and an older athlete (U6-17); in this case your fee would be a total of $245 (GUNLAC $85 + $160 Capital Athletics)
