SEASON 2020-21 REGIstrations are now open!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions limiting numbers at community sport we will need to run our meets differently this season, with staggered start times. Thank you to those parents who completed our survey on the meet format. The options we were looking into with 3 sessions presented issues around the lateness of a Friday night session for younger athletes and some concerns around the heat for older kids on Saturdays. Following this feedback, and looking further at advice from the ACT government, the GUNLAC Committee has decided to run two sessions both on Saturday morning:

8.30am - JUNIOR SESSION - Under 6, Under 7 and Under 8 boys and girls. Expected finish time 9.30am. Four events each age group. 

 9.45am - SENIOR SESSION - Under 9 - Under 17 boys and girls. Expected finish time 11.15am. Athletes will meet their age groups at the TOP OVAL and commence their first events in the bottom oval once the 1500m and Walks events are finished (expected to be before 10am).
Warm ups will be done in age groups at their first event (no big group warm-ups this season). From week 2 onwards we also run a 1500m race (Under 11 and older) and race walks (Under 9 and older) in between the two sessions, commencing at 9.45am.
