The program for this Saturday's meet is now available. This will be our final meet before the Xmas break. We return on 16th January 2021.  This week we are hosting our Friday Twilight meet due to the ACT Relay Carnival being held on Saturday.
Start times are: Under 6, 7, 8 AND 9 - 5.15pm events start. Under 10 - 17 - 6.30pm events start. Meeting areas will be the same as normal. UNDER 9 FAMILIES PLEASE NOTE - your events will in the FIRST session for this week only. Please come at 5.15pm. There wont be any 1500m or walks run this week. This week's program is now available. ROSTER We currently need the following roles filled on the roster. Set-up Javelin - 6pm Set-up Senior Throws - 6pm Round track recorder - 6.30pm session Straight track Starter - 6.30pm session Pack-up - 2 people If you are able to help please get in touch ASAP to [email protected]. CANTEEN Andrea and her team at the canteen have you all sorted for dinner with the usual BBQ PLUS Nachos, Spaghetti Bolognese and dumplings. We take cash and cards at the canteen. We had another fabulous meet on Saturday - it was a hot one but our athletes were brilliant breaking over 320 PBs! Our ribbon writers will be busy this week ready for our first round of PB ribbons to be handed out next weekend! A big congratulations to Sarah L from Under 15 girls who broke the High Jump Record - a huge jump of 1.46cm! Sarah now owns the Under 13, 14 and 15 Girls GUNLAC High jump records! Program and Duty Roster This week's program is now available and roster reminders have been sent to those on the roster. If you are on the roster but can't attend please let us know ASAP so we can fill your spot. This week we currently need THREE track helpers for session 2 (Under 9-17), one for each track (straight, round and hurdles). If you can help please email us at [email protected]. Relay Carnival Entries are currently open for the ACT Athletics relay carnival which will be held on Saturday 12th December. Due to COVID the carnival will be run in sessions and will be track only events. Find all the information you need on the Relay Carnival Page. Friday Twilight Meet On Friday 11th December we will hold a Friday Twilight meet instead of our regular Saturday morning meet (due to the relay carnival being held on the Saturday). The start times for this meet will be: Session 1 5.15pm - 6.15pm - Under 6, 7, 8 AND 9 (Under 9s finish time expected to be 6.30pm approx). Session 2 - Start time 6.30pm (finish approx 8pm) - Under 10-17 groups Note that Under 9 groups will be in SESSION 1 for this meet only. GUNLAC Committee Meeting The next GUNLAC Committee meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday 3rd December) via zoom, commencing at 7.30pm. All parents are welcome to join us!
