Unfortunately due to the weather forecast of severe winds and storms we are cancelling training on 12 October.
We look forward to seeing you all at our first meet this Saturday 14 October! Please come down and collect your registration pack from 2-4pm Sunday 8 October.
Please bring a copy of your registration receipt when collecting your registration pack/s. If you have not already provided a copy of proof of age documents please also bring these along. We are accepting an electronic copy. If you have any questions please email enquiries@gunlac.org.au. Your registration pack will include an Age Patch and Registration number to attach to the athletes t-shirt along with any pre-purchased uniforms. There is a $10 replacement fee for any lost registration bibs this season. We strongly encourage you to collect your registration pack/s on the preceding Sunday to avoid long waits in Week 1. Note: Athlete's who have registered for a trial DO NOT need to collect a registration pack. One will be prepared for you if you decide to register after the trial period. Registrations are still open! Please head over to our REGISTRATION page for information on how to register. Tack Assistant information session For families that have volunteered to be track assistants please come down at 3pm for an information session with Sarah. Sarah is one of our track managers and will run you through the role and timing equipment. Age Group Managers Age Group Managers, our Age Group Manager Coordinator Russell will be available at the pick up day to assist with any questions you have. Please also look out for communications from Russell about online training. We will be holding a second hand shoe stall during our rego pick up time this Sunday 8 October from 2-4pm.
If you would like to drop off shoes early, our treasurer, Ian will be at the Amaroo Playing Fields from 5-6p this Friday to accept shoes for sale or donation. Let us know how much you want to sell your shoes for and if you would like to receive the sale money or donate it to GUNLAC. A parent has volunteered to run the second hand shoe stall and keep track of the sales. The stall will likely run during our first meets of the season too. We already have a good variety of shoes available for purchase including waffles, sprinting spikes, distance spikes, jumping spikes and throwing shoes. Come down and check them out!
