If you're keen to work on your skills in particular events, GUNLAC Thursday Training provides a great opportunity to practice in between Saturday meets. Training is held every Thursday commencing at 5.15pm - for more details go to our Training Page. This week we will be holding the following sessions -
Training is open to all athletes Under 7s and older. We ask parents that they stay with their children at training, and help is always appreciated!

The Week 6 Program is now available on the Club Documents Page. The forecast is looking perfect for another fun morning of athletics! This week's parent roster has the following age groups rostered on to help out -
Morning set-up help - Under 10 Girls B (2-3 people)
Canteen/BBQ - Under 9 Girls (4 people)
Track helpers - Under 8 Girls (6 people)
Pack-up Assistance - Under 9 Boys B (2-3 people)
Our Thursday training session have been very popular this season, with another great roll up last week for our sprints sessions.

Thursday Training is a great opportunity to practice your skills in particular events each week. Training commences at 5.15pm with a group warm up.
A reminder that training is for athletes Under 7 and older. Under 6 athletes have age appropriate skills training as part of their On Track program each Saturday morning.
This week's GUNLAC news is now available - Week 5 Wednesday Wrap-up. We are currently experiencing some technical problems which is preventing us from emailing the newsletter link to families, we are hoping these will be fixed soon.
Our training page has been updated with details on this week's training session. Training is held every Thursday at Amaroo Oval, 5.15pm to 6.30pm. Training is offered to all GUNLAC registered athletes, U7s and older. Each week our coaches divide athletes into age groups and focus on specific events. This week we will be running a sprints session for Under 9s and older, with U8s and U7s doing throws and associated activities (lots of fun for our younger ones!)

Our training page has been updated with this week's sessions. We will be running relay practice for all ages - this is open to all athletes even if you're not attending the relay carnival - should be lots of fun! We will also be running long jump for U9s and u10s and throws for u11s and older. U7s and u8s will do long jump, shot put and shuttle relays.

Important reminder - Parents please do not drop off your child at training and leave! Our training sessions are run by parent volunteers, not professional coaches. You are required to stay at training with your children.
This week's program has been updated to allow for separate U13 and U14 Girls groups due to large numbers in these age groups. The updated program is now available on the Club Documents page.
