While the weather forecast is not looking good for our meet on Saturday, we have our Week 8 program ready to go! If we cancel our meet this weekend we will run this program for our final meet of 2017 on Saturday December 9th. Remember to watch our Facebook page and website for announcements on Saturday morning.
The ACT Little Athletic Relay Carnival is being held this year on Saturday December 16th at Woden Park. This year the carnival will be run using a new format where youngest age groups will be run first at 9am - Under 6s, Under 7s and Under 8s. These athletes can expect to be finished around 10.30am (depending on the number of athlete entries). Older athletes will commence once younger groups have finished.
We are currently looking for GUNLAC athletes, from all age groups, to make up teams at the carnival. The focus of the carnival is fun and participation - if we don't have enough athletes for make up groups of four we can combine age groups or combine with other centres. It would be great to get as many athletes there as possible,
To sign up for the carnival please email us at email@example.com with your details - name, age and rego number. Don't forget to also register with ACT Little Athletics for field events (see link on our carnival page) If you signed up on the Noticeboard at Amaroo no need to email us as we have your details, but you will need to register with ACT LIttle Athletics.
Check our more details on our Relay Carnival Page.
