When confirming our 2023-24 season dates, we originally did not schedule a meet for Saturday, 2 December as t was going to clash directly with a Capital Athletics event. We have since been informed that this is not the case and we can now run a meet on December 2nd to our calendar.
As 2 December was not initially on our calendar, no roster groups have been allocated to assist with this meet. Due to this, we are creating a roster just for our December 2nd meet. A few families have already volunteered to assist with the running of our meet on this day by filling a roster duty – thank you. We are looking for more families to create a full roster though. Please email [email protected] if you can fill any roster duty on Saturday, December 2nd. We need families to fill all roster duties on the day – U6-U8 set up, U6-U8 Canteen/BBQ Assistants, U6-U8 Track Assistants, U9-U17 set up, U9-U17 Track Assistants, U9-U17 Canteen/BBQ Assistants and Pack up. Information on what is required for each duty can be found on the PARENT ROSTER page. All Meets are listed on our 2023-24 CALENDAR page. Training is on this Thursday 23 November.
Location: Amaroo Playing Fields Session time : 5:30pm - 6:30pm U6-U8 Turbo Javelin U9-U10 Hurdles U11-U17 Hurdles We will send out an update tomorrow afternoon if training is impacted by bad weather. The 2023-24 ACT Relay Carnival is on Sunday 19 November at Woden Park Athletics Track.
U6-U8s please meet at the GUNLAC tent at 8am. U9-U17s, please meet at the GUNLAC tent at least 15 minutes prior to your expected start time. Start times: U6-U8s - 8:30am U9-U12s - 10:45am U13-U17 & Open - 2pm Volunteers: If you have volunteered to assist with the Relay Carnival please arrive at 8am if you are assisting with the U6-U8s session and 15 min prior to the start time for U9-U17s sessions. Please meet at the GUNLAC Tent and let a GUNLAC Committee member know you have arrived. We will send an email out with more information to athletes participating in the Relay Carnival. Session Times Junior - 8.20am Senior - 9.50am Program for Meet 6 is available: WEEKLY MEET PROGRAM. Parent Roster Group A is rostered on for Meet 6! If you are not sure if this is your group or if you are after information on the duties please head to our PARENT ROSTER page. If you are in Parent Roster Group A and have nominated to do set-up please remember to arrive by 8am for junior and 9:30am for Seniors. If you are rostered on for Senior set-up please meet at the shed (behind the Canteen) at 9.30am. You will then be directed on what we need to set up. We have become aware that some families are not receiving the weekly emails we send out for each Meet, the weekly training sessions and the Parent Roster Reminders.
